As the first post of this blog I guess I should be writing something profound or captivating. Unfortunately it’s a rainy Monday morning and the inspiration levels are a little low due to trying to cut back on the caffeine. So instead how’s about I just put forward my plan for why I started this thing, read on reader.

At first I thought having a blog would be a cool way to let people know what I was working on in my professional life. However I then realised that most of the posts would be of the “Today I did this and then I did this and then .  . . . “. So not wishing to sound like a five year old explaining what they did last summer I scrapped that idea.

Now I have come to the conclusion that I needed an outlet for all of the other creative musings flying around in my head which required realisation (or at least somewhere to sit other than in my book of scribbles). This way I have an easier way to look back on my mental state to eek out any missed gems. Also I enables you, my critics, to act as crud filters and gem polishers. You get to see my inner mind and can help me narrow down the good, the bad and the plain old daft ideas.
